Israel and Russian entrepreneurs visited the Partnership Fund

Representatives of Russian AGRICO and Israel Terra 1 Group, who are in Georgia for a fact-finding tour have met with the Partnership Fund’s senior officials. As the Businessmen expressed interess in investment opportunities, Irakli Kovzanadze, Executive Director of the Partnership Fund introduced to them those sectors in which the Fund implements projects: energy, real estate/infrastructure, manufacturing and agriculture. Kovzanadze overviewed successful projects and said that the Fund’s one of the special focus is agriculture where one project - a pig farm – has already been accomplished. Russian AGRICO, Agricultural Investment Company is one of the dynamic organizations focused on the agriculture sector in Russia. AGRICO owns lands in the South of Russia and produces a wide assortment of high quality agricultural products. Vladimir S. Bovin, Director of AGRICO said that his company is interested in the Georgian market, adding that the goal of his visit is to get the first hand information about the existing opportunities.
