Austrian Businessmen expressed interest to invest in Georgia

The Partnership Fund Executive Director Irakli Kovzanadze met with Austrian entrepreneurs Florian Kneidinger, Rolf Theuer and Ben Salm-Reifferscheidt while they visited Georgia. The Partnership Fund management introduced to the guests the fund’s mission, work guidelines and priority sectors. "Apart from agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy sector is also our focus of interests. In energy field, we are working to implement several large-scale projects, including 210 MW Nenskra HPP, 270 MW Oni HPP and 230 MW Gardabani CCTPP,” Natia Turnava, Deputy CEO of the PF said. According to Florian Kneidinger, for them the most interesting area is renewable energy. "We are interested in implementing10-30 MW HPP and for this purpose we are here to study the local market,” Kneidinger said. The three Austrian investors represent PRESSBURG PARTNERS, Austrian leading company which implements renewable energy projects in Europe and provides valuable advice to other investors. They have already implemented energy projects in Spain, Germany, Rumania and Slovakia.
